Overview

The kind of repair that doesn't look like a repair.

Drywall repair is where careful work shows. Anyone can patch a hole — but matching the existing texture, feathering the edges, and finishing so the patch disappears under raking light takes experience. That's what we've been doing across Southeast Idaho for two generations.

From a single doorknob hole to large water-damage repairs, settlement cracks, popped fasteners, or whole sections of wall — we patch, tape, mud, sand, and texture-match so paint covers a wall, not a repair.

Most jobs are completed in a single visit. Larger repairs may require a return trip to allow mud to fully dry between coats.

Common Problems We Solve

What drywall repair actually covers.

If your situation isn't listed here, call (208) 530-3308 — after two generations on the job we've probably seen it.

Holes & Punctures

Doorknob holes, foot-through-the-wall, accidental punctures from furniture or moves.

Cracks & Settlement

Stress cracks above doors and windows, corner cracks, and seams that open as a home settles.

Water Damage

Ceiling stains, swollen drywall, and sections that need replacement after a leak or roof event.

Nail Pops & Seam Lines

Fasteners that have worked loose and visible joint lines that need re-taping and finishing.

Access Cut-Outs

Patching after plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or remodel work — clean square repair, matched texture.

Texture Repairs

Re-texturing knockdown, orange peel, hand-troweled, or skip-trowel finishes to match the rest of the wall.

FAQ · Drywall Repair

Common drywall repair questions.

Don't see your question here? Call (208) 530-3308.

How long does a typical drywall repair take?
Most small to medium repairs are completed in one or two visits. A second visit may be needed to allow joint compound to dry fully between coats before texture is applied.
Will the repair be visible after painting?
A well-done repair should not be noticeable once the wall is painted. We feather edges, match the existing texture, and prep the patch so paint covers the wall — not the patch.
Do you paint the repair as well?
We focus on drywall — we leave repairs primed and paint-ready. Many customers prefer to roll the whole wall to ensure a perfect match, or hire their own painter for color matching.
Can you handle water-damage repair?
Yes. We remove damaged drywall, install new sheets, tape and finish the seams, and match the surrounding texture. We don't perform plumbing or roofing repairs — the source of the leak should be fixed first.
Do you work with insurance claims?
We're happy to provide written estimates for insurance claims related to drywall damage. Call us with the situation and we'll walk through what's needed.
