Overview

The hard part of a remodel is where new meets old.

Remodels are rarely a clean slate. Walls get moved, openings get closed up, plumbing and wiring get rerouted — and the new drywall has to meet existing walls, ceilings, and trim without showing a seam. That transition is where remodel drywall is won or lost.

We patch, hang, tape, finish, and texture-match remodel work so the updated space reads as one continuous home. We coordinate around the other trades on the project and keep the dust contained while we work.

Kitchens, bathrooms, opening up a wall, finishing a bonus room — we handle the drywall side cleanly from demo patching to paint-ready finish.

FAQ · Remodel Drywall

Common remodel drywall questions.

Don't see your question here? Call (208) 530-3308.

Can you blend new remodel drywall into my existing walls?
Yes — that is the core of remodel drywall. We feather new work into the existing surface and match the texture so the transition disappears once painted.
Do you coordinate with my other remodel trades?
Yes. We schedule the drywall around plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, and tile so the project keeps moving and the walls are ready when the next trade needs them.
Can you patch walls after a wall is removed?
Yes. Removing a wall or soffit leaves scars in the ceiling and adjacent walls; we patch, finish, and texture-match those so you cannot tell a wall was ever there.
Do you handle bathroom and kitchen remodel drywall?
Yes — including moisture-resistant board where the room calls for it, and clean drywall work around new cabinetry, tile, and fixtures.
